A real estate broker and a homeless man have become unlikely partners.
A Good Samaritan returned a lost $10,000 check to Roberta Hoskie of Outreach Realty Services in New Haven, Conn., after it went missing nearly a year ago. Hoskie wanted to meet the man, Elmer Alvarez, to thank him—and discovered he was homeless.
To show gratitude for his good deed, Hoskie helped Alvarez find an apartment, and she covered his rent for seven month while also paying for him to go through real estate school and...Please be safe out there.. And here we are again....
